UK-based To supply met mast services for SSE, Innogy, Brookfield Renewable UK, and E.ON, Dulas has inked framework agreements.
Framework agreements are signed by Dulas for the supply of met mast services at onshore wind farms.
In accordance with the four framework agreements, Dulas will conduct site evaluations, plan construction schedules, and calibrate anemometers and other measuring equipment. In accordance with the timeframe for the whole project, the business will also handle the masts’ installation, upkeep, and ultimate deactivation.
For developers looking to do wind energy evaluations for a particular site type, such as those in developing wind markets and at complicated sites, met masts continue to be the best choice. Co-locating met masts and remote sensing units is a strategy being used by certain developers, which is driving up demand for mast installation services.
In accordance with the framework agreements, Dulas will assist with mast installation at construction sites all around the UK. Before recommending the optimal position for the installation of the met masts, the firm will look at site locations compatible with desktop studies performed by developer wind yield teams as well as those suggested by the customer. After the planning clearance has been granted, Dulas will assist the customer in choosing the mast instrumentation that best satisfies the requirements of both the developer and the project itself. Then, at Dulas’s specialized facilities, this equipment will be calibrated and tested internally, and a data link will be created with the developer’s operations.
“At Dulas, we constantly invest the time to fully comprehend each site, enabling us to recommend the ideal combination of technology that will ensure bankability. However, because the UK has a developed wind industry, many new and potential locations there are highly complicated. Met masts are frequently the most effective way to evaluate these sites since they are a tried and tested technology. As a result, we are glad to provide our entire range of met mast services to Brookfield Renewable UK, SSE, E.ON, and Innogy.
