I love to visit schools and talk to students about writing and my life as an author ... Where do I find my ideas? … Where do I do my work? … What are some of the tricks that poets use? … What is the most important part of any story, poem, or book? Each presentation will be tailored to fit the needs of your school and the ages of the students. I will make up to three 45-minute presentations per day and I like to work with groups of no more than 75 students per session. During my visit, I would be delighted to autograph books, of course!
